Eli, Spencer and I are about to start a new chapter of our lives. Baby Wolter is coming in just three months. I thought it would be a great idea to abandon my old blog and start a new blog documenting our adventures into parenthood.
Pregnancy thus far has been pretty uneventful (knock on wood). First trimester I felt pretty terrible. I was tired all of the time and experienced a bit of nausea. At the time, I felt like it was the worst thing ever to be pregnant. Looking back, I now know that it could have been so much worse of an experience. Luckily second trimester rolled around and I got my energy back. I still have a lot of trouble sleeping through the night, but I at least wake up in the morning have my one cup of coffee and feel like I can make it through the day. With third trimester rolling in, I'm waiting to see what new fun stuff is in store for me. I've already started experiencing some back pain and I do have some trouble moving around, but for the most part I hardly look like I'm pregnant. We've had several ultrasounds though and baby is growing just fine.
I'm starting to get in a nesting mood. I've been knitting away at baby hats, sweaters, and booties. I can't wait to dress up the baby. I'm also trying to brainstorm ideas for the nursery. Picking a wall color seems so important! I just can't seem to make a decision. The ultrasound tech is pretty sure that we are having a girl. However, I just can't bring myself to have a really girly room. I'm looking for just that right balance of a sweet baby room and a bit of girliness.
So excited for you Tifanne! You could always just paint a pretty neutral color and maybe get those cute little Wallie things to put up and then when the baby is a toddler you can change it up according to what she is into.
