So I'm pretty sure that I've decided to paint the nursery a sage green color. I picked out a color from the Sherwin Williams color wheel that I was sure I liked. Eli and I went to the store to buy a color sample, they were completely out of sample paint. The guy told us that we could run to one of the other stores. I seriously contemplated just buying the actual paint rather then drive the 5 miles to the Brooklyn Park store, but luckily Eli talked me out of it. So we got the sample at the BP store and I immediately went up to the room and put it on the wall. I really hated it. When I was putting it up on the wall, the wet color reminded me a lot of a nasty baby poop color. I thought to myself, I cannot stand in this room and change dirty diapers that look the same color as the wall. Eventually when the color dried, it of course didn't resemble baby poo, but I still wasn't quite in love with the color. I just felt that it was too dark. For those of you that know me, I have this strange love with dark wall colors, hello townhouse! Anyway since I can't figure out how to place pictures and text in a blog, the picture is of the two green colors. The color on the right is the lighter one and the color on the left is the darker one. What do you all think?
